Established in the world of wines since 1980, Schneider-Oenologie is based in Germany and represented by its owner and founder, Volker Schneider, who has worked a bit around the world over the last 45 years in the areas of commercial winemaking, quality control, research, international consulting, university lecturing, and publishing.
This website includes various scientific and technical articles published by Volker Schneider. They cover issues such as amber (orange) wines, atypical aging, influence of screwcaps on wine quality, agglomerated corks, must hyperoxidation, postfermentation yeast lees, flavonoid phenols in white wines, impact of vinification on phenols responsable for premature white wine aging, and a useful lecture presentation on tannin and redox management of red wines.
Also represented on Researchgate.
Last but not least, a proud presentation of Volker Schneider’s own books on enological issues can also be found.
